1992 Toyota Pickup 4x4 - 22re - Manual - 81,500 miles - New tires
This Toyota’s engine is in excellent condition. With an engine that is known to last for 300000+ miles and has only 81,500 miles on it; there is a long-life ahead for this vehicle.
I purchased it as a reliable alternative to my in-town car for camping adventures and to feel completely safe on unpaved, snowy or muddy roads in the mountains. I checked the 4-wheel drive function on gravel roads heading to a camp-site but never actually needed to engage it since purchasing it last Spring.
Recently I decided to upgrade to a truck with a larger cab. I was a single dude when purchasing the truck and now I have another person with me. You never know what life’s going to bring you.
I know that this vehicle will last for many years to come.
Anyone who is looking for a reliable, long-lasting and hardy vehicle will be happy with this truck.
The tires and wheels are new, purchased three months ago. They have less than 200 miles on them. The truck has been seldom driven but feels absolutely amazing.

- 1992 Toyota Pickup - Standard Cab
- Manual Transmission
- 4-cylinder - 22re engine with 81,420 miles on the original engine
- Brand new Cooper Discover Tires (31s on 15" new wheels) and brand new wheels <200 miles
- 4x4 - manual locking front hubs * tested on logging roads to make sure everything engaged.
- Very little electrical components to go wrong (which was a huge selling point for me. I'm not a mechanic but knowing that I could drive a rig which could actually be affordably fixed is something these new trucks with all their fancy electronics and touch-screen navigation/radio crap can't boast)
- Clean title
Drawbacks:
- There is some minor rusting on the back, driver side and on the back bumper (brought down from WA)
- The canopy got one of its back windows broken. I was planning to cut a piece of plexiglass to slide into the track but hadn't gotten to it.
- Non-working horn. Haven't had time to take it to a mechanic to figure out why.

Reasoning:
The 1992 4x4 Toyota Pickups in working condition average around 6k. The low end for a not drivable/wrecked/branded is 4500 and 6k for a rig with 250k on the engine. (comps from Craigslist – KBB says 4k for a Toyota Pickup. If you can find one for the price, you better buy it fast!)
This truck is under 100,000 miles, in great conditions with new tires and wheels purchased for $1,500. You will absolutely get your money’s worth out of this vehicle for the price.
