Vehicle Description
Truck is overall in good shape. Has the Cummins 5.9L 12 valve engine, which runs great. Automatic 47RH transmission which shifts great and operates as it should. Has been well taken care of during my ownership. As you can see in the pictures the rocker panels and cab corners are rusting out. Also the clear coat is pealing.
Everything works on the truck as it should
- Std cab , 8ft bed
- Power windows, Sony stereo, HVAC system works (A/C will not hold a charge for a long time, but does operate, can demonstrate)
- No cracks in dash
- Autometer pyrometer and boost gauge equipped
- Mechanical fuel pressure gauge mounted on fuel filter housing
- Adjustable overflow valve installed
- Governor spring kit installed ( More available fueling through 2000-2800 rpm )
- Injection pump timed to 16.5*
- Killer dowel pin has been tabbed and staked
- Large air filter
- 4" Exhaust from turbo back
- Posi-Lok 4x4 engagement cable ( Replaces unreliable factory vacuum set-up )
- Use Rotella oil and Napa filters with regular changes
Maintenance work done in the past two years or less:
-New shocks
-New tires ( good tread left )
-New front calibers and pads
-New front stabilizer bar end links
-New steering damper
-New tail lights
-New upgraded headlight switch
-New rear brake line, master cyl to rear T-block
-New starter
-New radiator
-New water pump
-New belt tensioner
-New timing cover gasket and front main seal
-New push-rod cover gasket
-New lube in front and rear axles and transfer case
-Two new 925CA batteries ( just few months old )
-All battery cables re-lugged and installed 4 military style battery post clamps
-New block heater cord and bumper socket
