Vehicle Description
The w124 coupe convertible parts are extremely rare and expensive, just search how much the interior parts go for. I'd rather see the car go to Mercedes person that can reuse/resell these parts.
The car does have plenty of strikes against it, a salvage title, 360k miles, the clear-coat is chipped, it's taken a few hard hits over its life, reverse gear was going out, ac stopped working and most recently the brakes were mushy. But it is a very rare and extremely well built car with no rust. Don't expect to be able hop in and drive it away.
It has received two high mileage awards, I have the owner's manual, I still have the original window sticker ($63k in 1995, sold new in Wilmington, NC), I have the original complete tool kit, the original radio (with the anti theft code), the MBUSA 6 disk CD changer in the rear with the removable 6 disk cartridge and even the original unused first aid kit.
