Vehicle Description
Current known issues are what appear to be an electrical grounding problem. When the car is jumped, it will run for forever while still connected to the lead jumper car. But will shortly die and not restart when jumper cables unhooked. Since I've already replaced the battery and rebuilt the alternator, I am guessing it might be a grounding issue somewhere in the car. But I can not make any guarantee. I am willing however, to let you look at it and make your own assessment.
Besides the above issue, the car runs great. I've been using Mobil 1 for years. It has a small oil leak but it is slow. The engine and transmission still run great and last I heard from my mechanic, the engine still runs at stock compression. No major issues with the power train, suspension or other systems (as far as I'm aware of). No check-engine light (as far as I'm aware of). I think when the electrical issues are resolved and a general tune up is performed, you should have a great running car.
