I am the third owner (I think), and Purchased in 2016 from a person here in Berkeley. Truck originally came from the mid west. I bought it for towing and hauling and now have little use for it. Don't get me wrong, I love this truck, and it's still a real head-turner at 26 years old. I am not in a hurry to sell, but am considering legit offers.

7.3 liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. Odometer is a little under 187K, and I've put 13-14K miles on it over the last five years, mostly city driving. It's a 5 speed manual, and this million mile motor is running great. no mechanical issues.

Over the years I have replaced the shocks, the tires have maybe 4K miles on them, and it comes with a full size spare. The two batteries are maybe 2 years old, and also the alternator was replaced within the last three years. I have had it maintained by J&O commercial tire since I bought it. I can get records of the maintenance if needed.

Truck is set up with a class 4 trailer hitch but I never updated the braking or lighting controls. The bumper has a built in 5 pin plug, and there's some older braking controls hanging underneath. I never needed to really use it for towing so I didn't do the upgrades. I don't think any of the old wiring is live, but probably pretty easy to re connect.

Full size long bed, single cab, with a nice roll back bed cover. The previous owners had an old 5th wheel hitch in the bed, but I don't think its useable anymore. The bed has some rust around this 5th wheel plate, and has all the usual scratches that a 26 year old truck should have. Still totally solid, and will haul just about anything.

The body is straight, and has no evidence of accidents or body work. The paint is faded pretty good on the roof and hood, and a fair amount of the original pinstriping is still there. The right front fender has a couple dents, and I have a new chrome strip for the wheel well that came with the truck. it's really mostly cosmetic. Did you see the CHP-esque push bumper guard on the front? nice rubber, solid chrome, and is ready for mounting extra lights. Lastly on exterior, I broke two of the domes on the roof running lights today while i was washing it, and will be getting new ones this week. They are old and brittle and I should have known better. my bad.

The interior is worn for it's age, the seat is in pretty good shape, no major rips, but it is wearing thin. headliner is in tact. The dashboard has suffered from the sun, and has noticeable cracks. the glove box fell out about a year ago, and also caused the ash tray to come loose too. I have the glove box, and that is included in the sale.

Power locks, power windows, AM/FM radio, tape deck no longer works. Lighter socket still has power but it is a little loose. Will charge a phone with adapters. A/C blows a little cold, but not great. Heater works fine. One of the instrument clusters fell out of place but has no effect on the vehicle.

At the end of the day this is a beast of a truck, and if you're still reading this you know what we have here. The motor is still a baby and should run well into the apocalypse on a variety of bio fuels, I have only run Diesel and never bio, but pretty sure you could pump all the oils into it well after we run out of fuel.

I will say the obligatory, no low ballers, this is a sweet truck and will do the job you need it to do for years to come.

I may consider trades, looking for a 65-66 Ford galaxie coupe hard top, no post or similarly worth while muscle project.
