The engine developed a Knock in January. Car needs tires.
I have 3 other vehicles, so it was immediately parked. I have not had time to look at it and the wife wants it gone. The battery is good, car starts and will drive under its own power. The car is in need of tires.
The engine was rebuilt in 2016 and has about 60,000 since overhaul. Water pump, radiator and all hoses were replaced as part of overhaul.
6,000 miles ago:
Front: new brake pads, calipers, discs, hub bearings and struts on both sides.
Rear: new drums, shoes, hubs, struts, and trailing arm bushings.
9,000 miles ago
Distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and idle air control valve.
The car was struck in the front passenger fender/bumper in 2014. Insurance issued a salvage title due to the cost of repairs exceeding resale value. At that time I had the bumper/fender headlight replaced, entire car painted, and new sunroof/headliner installed.
The car has a custom stereo, 12” subwoofer , 500watt amp, kenwood stereo with iPod control.
Car spent most of its life in California and Oregon and has had very little exposure to road salt, there is almost no rust.
