Vehicle Description
Selling one of the best cars we ever owned. Very reliable. Drives like a high end Mercedes, but is well built, reliable and well engineered by Honda! Over 200K mi. +.
Runs good, but needs;
- a tune-up. External belts, air conditioner compressor come with the car.
You will need to replace the timing belt very soon.
Water leaks around sunroof (drains need to be cleared).
Window switches are glitchy. Just recently, the master switch quit working on all the windows except the driver window.
Ignition lock seems sticky-might be the key copy.
The speedometer quit working. Suspect the engine speed sensor next to timing belt.
Part of the instrument panel is not illuminated due to burned out bulbs. The fix is on UTube.
Needs some body work, or not.
Has always easily passed smog each time.
Has new tires (one year old low miles).
Have gone back and forth on keeping it for the long term, but health issues and time are limiting my ability to fix all the problems listed.
There are lots of little things that can all be fixed with some knowledge and energy and then you have a luxury car for ten more years. It would be very affordable if you are a mechanic or are handy in car repair.
Here is a car without all that more complicated electronic stuff to break.
