1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. 131,000 original miles, but most of it is not original. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. All work listed has been done in the last 10,000 miles, most (including engine and transmission) less than 5,000 miles. 4.0L with Automatic transmission. Heat and AC work. 4x4 high and low work great. 33x12.5-15 Wild Peak AT tires with 80% tread. 4 inches of lift with new Sky Jacker shocks. Warn heavy duty front bumper with a Super Winch TS 9500 Sr winch with synthetic rope. Heavy duty rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. I converted from a 5 speed to automatic a couple of years ago. The engine from the donor vehicle was a rebuild and had 158lbs of compression in each cylinder. I replaced the rod bearings, timing chain, rear main seal, valve cover and oil pan gaskets at the time of conversion. Had the transmission rebuilt at Jerrys Transmission also. Re-gear to 373 to accommodate the 33in tires and automatic transmission. Will get up to 75 or 80 mph no problem. Rear diff is a Dana 35 with Spicer Trac Lok limited slip. Just replaced the radiator. Replaced upper ball joint and had aligned. NO death wobble. JKS heavy duty adjustable front track bar. Speedometer reads correctly. Cold air intake and electric fan conversion with adjustable temp set points. Has 23lb 4 port fuel injectors. Entire exhaust system was replaced a couple of years ago. Rear drivers frame has had the repair done. The only real rust is on both rear torque box at the mounts. They make repair patch pieces for these specific areas. All other mounts are good. Frame is in good shape. Front fenders, grille and hood have been replaced with rust free ones. Hard top controls work and so do the fog lights. I have taken very good care of this Jeep and there isn’t a spot on it I haven’t touched. There are many other things I can list, but seeing and driving is the best to appreciate it. Many more miles left in the old gal. I have a trail cover, Bikini top with header and quick detachable mirrors to go with it also.
