Vehicle Description
The interior is what you'd expect from this age of SUV, but kept clean and is almost tear-free, save for the split in the driver seat seam. The passenger side front seat will not move back (this is an issue that is often resolved by hand cranking them back). As a 6'1" person, I can sit in it comfortably. It has third row seating and all of it works as it should. The windows are slow in the winter, but work well in the warmer months.
There is a small dent in the cargo area roof on the driver's side (see picture). A tree limb fell from our neighbor's yard and dented it a couple of years ago. It didn't cause any functional damage so I decided not to repair it. The factory roof rack was removed by the previous owner and replaced with a stronger Yakama rack. There is some rust around the window on the back hatch door. The back bumper right side end has been cut off due to a tailpipe gone wild issue (new tailpipe now). The antenna doesn't work. Finally, it's an 80 series cruiser that leaks oil. So you'll have to put in a half a quart every other fill up.
On the good side, the brakes, tires, shocks, etc. are all good to go. It has had a new tailpipe put on, a new radiator, and new spark plug wiring (all in the past year). It drives well, handles well, accelerates as expected. It has a removable face CD player. NO diff lockers.
Even in its condition it gets a lot of complements. It was the last of its series and some say the best of them. It's got 320,000 miles and I have no doubt that it will make it another 100,000+. It’s far from perfect, but it’s really trustworthy and has been a great vehicle. I kind of hate to sell it, but I’d rather not have it sit.
I’m asking $4,000. This is a fair market value price that assumes that you’ll decide whether to fix some of the issues or not (none of them are necessary). There are no liens on it and the title is clean. It's a non-smoking vehicle, and it’s never been in an accident, except for the fall tree branch.
