1997 Nissan Pathfinder. 174,400 miles, 2wd, automatic.
Runs and drives, shifts perfect, but stalls after 30 minutes and needs to sit before starting back up. Shop cannot figure out why. Ton of new parts on this car, records for everything. Suspension almost completely rebuilt, brakes/rotors/drums all done this year, timing belt and water pump just done, new power steering pump, new valve cover gaskets, I could go on and on. Also has a pretty big oil leak from somewhere. One back door is stuck shut and the AC is out. No cracks in any windows, all lights work, no body damage. I really loved driving it before it started stalling. Has never overheated and I drove it long distances.
Clean title, registration all paid, smog in hand but you must acknowledge that it stalls. It always stalls after 30 minutes. Do not decide to ignore this. Recommend towing if you can.
If you can figure it out, it'll be a great car. Otherwise it's a perfect parts car. Wish I had the time or the tools, but unfortunately my living situation is unsteady and I cannot hang onto it.
