2, maybe 3, owners.. haven't looked at the title in a while.
$1,500 OBO... don't come at me with $400, I don't want to have to laugh anyone off my property.
I've owned the car for about 3 years now but it hasn't been driven much since I got a new car in January.
Had a gas leak when I bought it so I ran new rubber lines cause who's got time for flaring.
Brakes were done last summer, only ~5,000 miles of braking on them. Mind you, I know how to downshift so they've got a lot of life left.
Tires have some life left in them but may need a change for the snow.
OEM clutch kit, A/C tensioner pulley, plugs/wires, and distributor rotor/cap also done last summer.
I have kept up on regular maintenance since I bought the car (oil/filter, bearings, plugs/wires, injectors, etc.)
Typical rust around the fenders and a few dents here or there from years of love.
I'll be honest, her body is a 5 but what she lacks in looks she makes up for in raw performance and pure sex appeal.
This is the second late-90s Civic I have owned (the first made it to 260k before it blew b/c the buddy I sold it to never checked the oil...LOL). They are great beginner cars & winter beaters, and an all around great option if you're just looking to get from A-B for cheap. I would get 30-40 mpg on any given day driving this beast. Cuts through snow like a Viper 700 triple and the manual tranny really lets you keep it in the torque range you need for whatever lays ahead. I've had this bad girl all over the country and she's navigated just about any terrain there ever was with ease. Occasionally on the highway she'll get a mind of her own and there's damn near nothing you can do to stop her from blowing the doors off any fool with a V6 Crowd Killer. She's not much of a burnout queen but when conditions are right she'll roast the tread off all the way through 2nd. She was my baby for a long while but its time for me to move on and let someone else show her the love she deserves. Give her some TLC every once in a while and she'll treat you right for years to come ;).
