1999 Camry V6. Plenty of power. Overdrive button for hauling loads! Nice!
I have owned this car since 2010 and it has been faithful and steady. This car has the same engine as it’s Lexus counterpart - my Toyota mechanic friend says that it will run forever if maintained regularly. I have maintained it faithfully. Oil changes every 5000 miles with synthetic oil and Toyota filters.
The car has a few quirks. The steering wheel makes a whining sound when it’s cold - the Toyota dealership checked it out and said it was fine. In warm weather the sound goes away.

*New spark plugs
*New Mass airflow sensor
*New oxygen sensors (all three).
*New power steering pump
*New radiator hoses
*New Thermostat
*Radiator flush.
*Transmission fluid exchange.
I have done all the work myself (including maintenance), except for
Timing Belt changed at 80,000k miles. At the time several seals were replaced - thought I don't remember which ones.
This a fantastic first car, a great daily commuter, and a solid power-house. I am selling it because my dad gave me a newer Toyota and I have no use for it anymore.
