Vehicle Description
This car was in an accident as you can tell from photos.
Radiator support was repaired. Drivers fender and front bumper cover were replaced with used parts from a different shade vehicle. Grille was upgraded to a used 2000 style, with Chevy bowtie emblem.
Other various lights, mounting panels, etc. were also replaced.
It is not the prettiest, but still looks reasonably presentable.
This vehicle was previously owned by an auto mechanic and was very well cared for.
This car is structurally in great condition. These Malibus tend to rot away at the front and rear rocker panels. The last photo shows the rusty, not rotted front rocker panel. Only surface rust is present.
Rear rocker panel areas are a bit rusty but reasonably solid, in comparison to other Malibus of this body style.
Water leaks in Malibu trunks are a common problem as well. As you can see, trunk floor in this car is clean and dry.
There is a small rusted through area near the fuel door, as seen in photo.
Exterior is complete, other than broken passenger side mirror, crack in windshield, and unmatched body panels. Not perfect, but structurally in good shape.
Interior is not perfect, but overall in good condition.
New front brakes.
Good tires.
New front sway bar links.
Cylinder heads were rebuilt in 2016 at approximately 100,000 miles- 146,000 now.
Aftermarket Pioneer bluetooth, compact disc radio included.
Rear speakers were upgraded when Pioneer was installed, too.
Original am/fm cassette radio included as well (unsure if it works)
Spare tire and tools are all present.
Valid New York State inspection sticker expires in January of 2021.
Car is sold as is, with no warrantees or guarantees whatsoever.
Clean New York State title in hand.
Price is negotiable.
I would rather see whole car sold intact but will possibly resort to selling parts, so act fast.
