Vehicle Description
Seller was informed this car had three previous owners and was purchased new from Gorno Ford in Woodhaven, MI. Reportedly, the first owner was a middle-aged woman who did not drive the car often. As a result, the car spent most of its life in a garage, until it was passed to her son, then was purchased by a friend of the woman's son. That friend then sold the car to its current owner in February 2019. The car had 53,000 miles on it when purchased in February 2019.
Since being purchased in 2019, the car has had just over 3,000 miles put on it and the following items installed or replaced:

New brake caliper up front, two new calipers in the rear

Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter (retrofitted to fit the Contour SVT via a PRT riser)

This car is unique in that it retains the 2.5L Duratec V6 DOHC engine and transmission. It has not had a 3L swap like most SVTs on the market. It is build number 2753 of 2760 in 1999. This is an E1 car, which means it has the upgrades made for the E1s, importantly the updated wiring harness and increased power.
The car is finished in black clearcoat. The interior is navy blue leather. Brakes have been upgraded to slotted/drilled rotors. The shifter has been upgraded to a Steeda short throw shifter. Lights have been upgraded to LED both in the gauge cluster and in the headlights. The underbody of the car is clear.
This is not a Concord's show car. It is a 20-year-old car that's been driven, and it has the rock chips and coffee stains to prove it. What this car is is one of the cleanest surviving SVT Contours you will find. It is a car you can take to a local show and have a dozen people walk up to you to talk about how they haven't seen one of these in a decade. Overall, the condition will not disappoint and the car is virtually how it was when it rolled off the showroom floor in 1999.
