Vehicle Description
The time has come to sell Old Blue. We've owned this vehicle for 13 years and have put most of the miles on it. It has been very well maintained and has been an outstanding vehicle for us. However, like any vehicle that's 20 years old, it's not without issues. Listed below is the good and bad for it.
The bad - it WILL need head gaskets or intake gaskets. It starts and runs strong, but it is starting to smoke occassionally when it's started, and it's starting to use coolant. There is no coolant in the oil and no oil in the coolant. It has rust. The pics show all of the rust locations. Most of it is concentrated around the wheel wells, but the driver's rear cargo door has a little rust. The windshield has some chips and is cracked in a couple of spots from hail this summer. The rearview mirror has fallen off. There are stains on the carpet and on the rear of the driver's seat, and the center armrest in the second row. The paint looks good from a distance, but it does have a lot of chips and dings from dirt roads an highways. The tires have good tread, but they are weather checked, and the driver's rear has a slow leak. The driver's side headlight got a chip in it and has moisture in it.
The good - It runs STRONG. It always fires on the first crank and runs like a vehicle with far fewer miles. It has a brand new distributor, cap/rotor, and plugs/wires. Everything works. The heat and AC work, the 4wd works, the stereo works, the rear heat, and AC work, all the windows work, all the locks and handles work, the power seats work, the brakes are good. It has a Volant cold air intake on it and will include a Superchips handheld tuner. The seats are in OUTSTANDING condition. There are no tears, and they are not broken down. The dash is not cracked, and it includes Weathertech floor mats.
