Used 1999 Toyota Camry 100k Miles Good Mechanically for sale in Lawai, HI
Vehicle Description
It has a one year vehicle safety inspection valid to 11/19, and it is registered with HI DMV until Dec 31, 2019.
It has been meticulously maintained over the years at both Lihue Midas and Hi Tech Automotive Repair at Port Allen. If you have a mechanic or vehicle inspector who wants to view it, feel free to bring them along.
The Tires were recently replaced with Michelin Defender T+H All Season Tires (195/70R14 91(H)), 80,000 mile warranty for $400 at Costco. These tires only have approximately 500 miles on them.
Known issues:
1) Very minor (1-2 cm) rust spots were treated with Rustoleum on the roof, inside hood and inside trunk. This doesn't match the paint color.
2) The air conditioner doesn't work. May just need a recharge, unknown.
3) The drivers side door lock lever is broken but it still locks/unlocks from the inside.
4) The ignition was changed at Napa a few years ago so there is a separate door and ignition key.
5) There is a nice dimple dent 1" deep in the drivers side back panel (definitely nothing structural , just cosmetic)
6) some leaves got into the cabin air intake, so they make a rustling noise when the direct air is on.
7) a 1" area on the drivers door needs a replacement weather seal.
Perfect Kauai car. Low Maintenance, easy to drive, low service cost. Nearly new tires.
