Used 1999 Toyota Camry - 750 OBO for sale in Sidney, OH
Vehicle Description
The Good:
It is a Camry;
~18 years on, it has started every single time a charged battery was *properly connected;
3 of 4 windows open/close;
Powered driver's seat works;
Heat works - only highest fan setting, the AC 'may' only need to be recharged (donno, didn't try);
OEM Cassette/CD/Radio;
*As it is, you should NOT drive* (if you're tooling around on grass or dirt, you'll manage).
The Bad:
One headlight works (one setting);
One operable brake (fr. left);
At a minimum, you must replace one caliper (fr. right), two rotors (right side), brake pads (have just not on car), and new brake fluid;
The exhaust flange rusted away and you will need a flex pipe to reconnect (idling warm engine is not loud) and the engine light is on;
All tires leak air (have to be refilled regularly), probably should replace with used ones;
Small oil leak;
The hood latch cable broke, the latch is very rusty & difficult to open;
The parking brake does not work, the brake light came on;
Needs an oil change & maybe a tune-up (reconnect the exhaust, then you decide);
Most of the time, the clutch pedal sticks to the floor.
The Ugly:
It is grey, inside and out;
Some paint missing/faded;
Some areas of rust: above the windshield (center-right), both rear fenders, bottoms of doors (interior), and a small hole rusted through above the *battery;
The front passenger door handle broke off, can sorta use remnants to open from the outside (two-hand job);
Some small dents & scratches (not me!);
The passenger-side mirror is missing, that was me.
