Two owner BMW station wagon. Aspen silver metallic exterior. Gray leather interior. We purchased November 3 2016 for our twins to commute to UCONN. Well maintained past 4 years [63,200+ miles] and our service history is available. Automatic transmission. Front seats are heated. Xenon headlights. Power glass moonroof. 3 keys for buyer. Front cupholders replaced with better designed tray. Split fold rear seatbacks allow significant storage area.

Exterior has dent on front hood and kidney grill, scratches on doors, passenger side mirror removed. Front seat bottoms have stitching worn out. Rear trunk lifts/struts need replacement. Original navigation system is non-functional/obsolete. Retractable cargo/luggage cover is missing. Service Engine Soon (emissions) light is on dashboard but mechanic diagnosed and replaced secondary air pump September 2020 ($ 1,028). This investment met the cost expenditure waiver, so the car is approved in Connecticut until 8/10/2022, when emissions testing will be required for continued registration. [DMV said "the waiver follows the vehicle until the expiration date" ... new owner does not need to have emissions tested before 8/10/2022.] DSC (dynamic stability control) warning light shows on dashboard, but it does not impact driving. A few minor spots of rust. New hood and trunk emblems. Some droops to windshield pillar fabric.

The car was donated by first owner to a charity in 2016. When we purchased, we were surprised to get a title listing Not Actual Mileage, apparently due to charity transaction. Mileage history on Carfax.com seems to have logical integrity.

Insurance claim in May 2020 for low MPH accident. Stopped fully at stop sign. Looked left for traffic. Moved up and front bumper nudged back bumper of car who stopped unexpectedly. (Less than 5 miles an hour.) Airbag did not deploy. Allstate would have replaced/repaired front bumper bumper cover, xenon headlights, headlight washer nozzle, etc. but we opted for cash value and purchased the car. NOTE: Allstate/DMV say car needs to be repaired, then flatbed trailer to DMV in Wethersfield for inspection before new owner can drive on road. I will list this disclosure on Bill of Sale.

It is registered, insured, has plates. Very good heating and air conditioning. We have 4 other E39 BMWs and want to downsize the driveway/garage/insurance. Original retail list price in 2000 was $50,085.
