BMW only produced 10,503 of these cars for the North American market from 02/1998 until 05/ 2002 and as such they are very rare. The black auto soft top is in good condition and will provide many more years of service. The car is Cosmos Black Metallic w/ Premium Black leather interior (to include sport seats, door panels, steering wheel and shift knob). It has the 3.2L DOHC 24 valve in-line 6 (borrowed from the M3), the 5 speed manual transmission and includes traction control. This Z3 has A/C, power steering, power ABS brakes, tilt telescoping steering wheel, one-touch power windows, power door locks w/ remote, heated seats, power heated electric side mirrors, cruise control, premium sound system w/CD and a 6 CD changer in the trunk. It also has staggered 17” silver alloy M wheels and comes with a car cover. MSRP was $43,470 in 2000 and NADA average retail for this BMW is $12,300 with high retail at $22,200.
