As you can see this Jeep has been very well maintained,in fact I have never been off-road with it at all. Fresh tires, brakes, everything in tip top shape, Jeep has been maintained by McInnis Auto in Schererville, IN. After I purchased it I addressed all little things that needed correcting, rear glass, headliner, everything to make sure it can be driven daily without issue.
This Jeep also has a high end custom stereo with Subwoofer box that absolutely rocks (installed by Car Teks in Schererville, IN, I paid approx $1,500.00).
I have removed the carpets and replaced with noise blocking pads and custom Weather Tech floor mats front and rear. Jeep has 176,000 miles and counting, I would drive it (and do) anywhere without worrying about it. Please call or text with questions. I am willing to discuss price but I am not going too crazy as this is about as nice an XJ as you are going to find, I had lift installed so I can say for a fact that it has never been off-roaded or beat up. This was intended to be for my 16 year old son but he is not comfortable driving it (too high up) and wants a smaller car instead.
There was some rust on the bottom door area and one front panel which I cleaned up and treated with POR 15 rust converter before painting with bed liner (it could use a fresh coat of bedliner at this point), hood has custom vents (painted to match the body) and is plasti dipped black (can be peeled off if you don't like).

I was driving it everyday and loving it. Piston skirt cracked started making noise and I had a mechanic friend of mine put in a used engine out of a 99 Wrangler. Motor supposedly has 94k on it. After investing about 2 grand and a ton of work including a new radiator, O2 Sensor, hoses, belts, etc., it now needs an oil pump. I just do not have the stomach for it and I my friend took a new job and does not have time to help me with the oil pump. I do not want it sitting in my drive-way all winter. Will start with a jump but probably needs a new battery. Will need to tow it as oil pressure to low to drive it anywhere.
Hate to see it go. Perfect for a mechanic.
