Vehicle Description
I got this bus from a school system that kept it maintained every 30 days and it shows. Everything I've checked so far on this baby works perfectly, even all the gauges !!!! It's a Thomas built bus, with an International DT466E engine, and an Allison transmission ……… from my years in dealing and playing with buses this is THE combo you want. I've never had as much as a skip in any bus I've had with this engine/trans combo. So this gal is ready to hit the road NOW. I just drove it app 300 miles yesterday to check everything out and I couldn't find anything I would question whatsoever. Here's the specs:
2000 model International with a Thomas built body
Full size bus - 76 passenger
26 bus seats (free of charge)
Odometer - the school system told me it had 87,000 miles on it, but it actually reads 8,955 ? I can't explain …. so somewhere between 8,000 and 87,000 miles ……… and yes the odometer works perfectly.
Air brakes
6 full size bus tires in great shape
All safety equipment in working order …. strobe light, stop signs, etc.
Bus heaters - front and back working good
No AC
2 emergency exits - 1 on each side
2 hatches in the roof
Floor is solid as a rock
Cruise control
Holds perfect oil and water pressure
Full of oil and coolant
Has over a half tank of diesel
All lights work …. headlights, back lights, blinkers, roof lights, etc.
Free and clear title in hand
