Vehicle Description
Pros:
New transmission with 2 year warranty
New complete Air ride system including PCU
New fuel pumps (both of them)
New vacuum lines throw-out
New power steering pump and lines
New front brakes and vented rotors
New front end control arm complete kit (done by Les Schwab with warranty)
New front CVC boots
New front driveline and driveline coupler
New drive belts (both of them)
New Battery
New air filter
New Oil change
New thermostat
New crankcase Ventilation hoses
New Tires from Les Schwab (2 months old)
New window regulators (all four) One broke a few months ago so I replaced all of them at the same time
The interior is in great shape with no tears in any part of the upholstery.
Sunroof works great along with all electric seats and media player
No body damage besides a few small scratches. Pretty standard
Heated steering wheel and seats. All works like new.
Cons:
The small digital board has pixels burnt out (see pic) This is a common issue with these X5's everything else in the cluster is fine.
Amazon sells a new pixel board for 30.00 or eBay sells new clusters for 75 -100
All of the new parts and labor done on this car was serviced by a local registered BMW maintenance shop. And I have a Boat load of receipts that goes along with it. Including the Les Schwab paperwork.
This X5 is AWD drive and if you have never driven one of these in any type of horrible weather you are missing out. They are heavy and stay on the road in snow, sleet and ice. When the pass was compact snow and ice this year we did 60 over it while others were doing 25. Its a Tank with A lot of V8 power.
I personally have invested well over 14,000 in this car because my wife loved this car. But I bought her a new Jeep so now the X5 is sitting in the driveway looking pretty.
