Used 2001 Chevrolet Astro AWD for sale in Los Angeles, CA

HISTORY:

You are looking at a rare 2001 Chevy Astro AWD passenger van in very good condition. 131,000 miles on this vehicle at the moment. For sale by second owner for $11,000.

Clean title in-hand, no damage history, passes smog, runs perfectly, has current registration, and I’ve got pink slips.

Bought this van in 2016 from the original owners, an older couple who used this van as their camper. They were Chevy aficionados and very particular about hitting maintenance intervals. They sold it to me with roughly 100k miles.

Took it to my trusty mechanic (Jimmy at Pacific Auto Services) and had him replace the tires, radiator, and all hoses, and the last 30,000 miles the van has been flawlessly reliable. Jimmy would be very upset to hear that I am considering selling this car.

Since then, I’ve hit every oil change and had the van looked after very well. It’s seen very light use and never been off-roaded or driven hard.

Have original seats and seatbelts as well, all in good condition.

This is an all-wheel drive vehicle. That, in combination with the relatively low mileage, makes this a rare vehicle. Especially in California.

Van is currently configured as my camper rig, with an easily removable twin bedframe, a roof box, and a personal favorite upgrade, a deep-cycle sailing battery with an inverter. Install was done professionally by my mechanic. I can do about 5 complete laptop charges off of this battery, and it’s an incredibly robust and useful upgrade to this vehicle. Going to make a point of having these installed in any car that I own.

You can have the van with the original seats, or the bed frame, or both, or empty. Roof box is for sale for an extra $300.

QUIRKS:

Currently has Bridgestone KO2’s, lots of mileage left on these. Could probably use an alignment, but not urgently.

Heater works flawlessly, AC works but not as efficiently.
And just to be clear, I’m in ZERO rush to sell this van.
