Vehicle Description
Now the not so good- The paint has failed in a few spots which is common for the white Grand Marquis' and Crown Vics of this vintage. I have provided photos of these areas. There is a scrape on the passenger side fender which is shown in a photo that extends a short way in to the door. There is no rust in the scrape just a small indentation. The front driver side and passenger side automatic door locks do not actuate. The retaining bolt for the internal mechanism needs to be replaced. The key locks work find. You can find articles on Utube on how to replace the bolt. The rear door locks work fine with the remote and the driver side keypad. There is a rust spot on the passenger side front fender. Replacement fenders can still be found in junk yards at reasonable prices. Replacement of the fender is not all that expensive. The radio works but the preset buttons do not. The scan buttons work fine as does the manual channel knob. FM always comes in fine but AM is staticee if the signal is weak. The shift lever position indicator does not work. The shift lever works fine and engages all gears quite well.
The tires are in reasonably good condition.
I have maintained this car very well and it has always been reliable starting and running. This is a very good running solid vehicle for a low price.
