She has been loved dearly and could be a wonderful companion, with a little work from a grease monkey. I'm gonna be super straight-forward with you here, so be cool, read the post, and shoot your shot.

I am the second owner and bought her gently used in 2013 with only 61,000 miles. This car has been awesome and extremely reliable, but it is time for me to upgrade and pass her along to a loving, new owner. She has excellent bones and is in need of some age-appropriate TLC.

Here's the rundown on her current status:

Exterior: Minimal dings and dents, no rust, paint is holding up really well. Flaws include-- some peeling paint along those plastic exterior door moldings, also some extra paint from the house painters on the underside of the passenger side mirror, and a couple of scratches scuffs along the bumpers, etc. (see photos). All windows/windshields are in excellent condition. Tires are only 3 years old.

Interior: Great shape. Floor carpet could use a shampoo, but the seats have minimal wear, very few stains, and no tears- still really solid. Interior doors are clean with no tears. Dash/steering wheel, cup holders, radio console, etc. in great shape.

Mechanics: She sings a bit of a song when she drives. I took her to the mechanic a month or so before quarantine and here is the jist of what he said:

"Most of your engine gaskets need to be replaced, that's what's causing the slow leaking. You also need at least one new motor mount- that's what's causing the rattling when you accelerate. The transmission seems to slip a bit when you really punch it from 1st to 2nd gear, but just be easy on it and it'll be fine. A/C works well, but the A/C compressor is the one making that intermittent high-pitched noise, so that may need to be replaced at some point. Your timing belt and other belts are good, brakes are good and the pads have 4mm-6mm on them. Everything else tested just fine, but you need new shocks. We replaced the radiator back in 2017 because the original one's plastic was cracking at the seams, so you're good there. The cars in decent shape and could run forever if it got the work done that it needs."

No lights on the dash or other issues I'm aware of. She starts up great and you really feel all 127 HORSE POWER and 115 lb-ft of torque. All Honda air-bag recalled parts have been replaced as far as I know.

She also has a few unique features:
- She has a cassette player instead of a CD player, which is even cooler in my opinion.
- All of the power locks and windows work great, except the front passenger window can only be controlled by the passenger door, not the driver's side.
- The cruise control works and also sometimes decides to stop working with no rhyme or reason...
- Full-size spare in the trunk!
- Passenger-side vanity mirror is by far the most used part of this vehicle, so it's a little worse for wear, but the visor itself it just fine.
- The odometer reads 64,628 miles because it had to be replaced right after I bought the car (a short or something), but the true mileage has been reported to the DMV.

I honestly love this car. I named her Dorris, as a tribute to her sturdy, no nonsense character. She has taken me on some wonderful adventures and has never let me down. If this babe sounds like she could be the salt to your peppa, shoot me an email.
