Used 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport RV Package for sale in PA

Vehicle Description

I bought this Wrangler to tow behind the RV on our trip out west with the kids. We towed it 5600 miles without issue. Served us great as the additional vehicle for Badlands, Yellowstone, and The Tetons. I have always maintained this vehicle and had current NY inspections. Now it is time to part with it as the kids are getting older. I have the whole kit to hook it up to the RV. I purchased a plow for it as we figured it could plow the driveway while not in use for the summers. I also have a brand new interior carpet set and seat covers that were never installed other than the front seats. The braking system is a "Brake Buddy" braking system and the tow hookup is "Blue Ox". It has always been garage kept since I have owned it and I believe previously as well. It does have high miles but you would never know it to drive it. Everything works! AC is ice cold. Tires are in great shape. It does have a valve tap that comes and goes. Mostly you hear it when idling. Bad lifter? I put Marvel in it and it definitely goes away. The only other issue is the transmission will slip when it is cold or not used everyday. It has been this way for as long as I have owned it. If I let it warm up 10 minutes in the winter I can plow 2 feet of snow no problem. Some guys think it is the torque converter seal. Others think it is a valve body problem, but I just kept trusting it and it never let me down. You'll hardly notice it if you drive it everyday. Not sure what to make of it, but I figure letting it warm up good is better than paying for a new trans. If it would have failed me ever I would have done the trans. I will make sure it is ice cold when you come to check it out so you can see for yourself. Plow is not in great shape, but it does work. I also have a hardtop for it that comes with it. This is a great looking vehicle in the right color, BLACK. Soft top is in good shape. Heat cranks in the winter. I have never used the hardtop. Minor areas of rust for 20 year old truck.
