Used 2001 Saturn Sl2 - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale for sale in Marshall, NC

This was my wife's car. She has owned it since 2006. Was bought with low miles used at Chattanooga saturn dealership where her aunt sold cars at. Im a mechanic and have maintained it for the last 7 years. Ive replaced the whole valve body with the updated Sonnax sleeve kit about 4 years ago when i lost all gears(common issue with these cars). Havent had an issue since. Ive done the intake manifold fix as it started leaking(also common issue with the plastic intake manifold. Replaced radiator, water pump, belt and tensioner, heater core (easiest one youll ever do) egr vaccum solenoid( cleaned the egr tube also), upper motor mount, spark plugs and wires and electric radiator fan. I also just put new brake rotors on in the last week. Decent tires. Lightly tinted windows. Cd player with auxillery cord. Has original spare, Jack and manual. Thats all i can think of at the moment. NO LEAKS. Cold AC and Hot Heat.

Driver side leather seat ripped. Headliner ripped up Sunroof is bound up. Needs to be totally pulled out and taken apart and cleaned. Wasnt important enough to me to do all that. All drains are clear but for some reason it leaked sometimes when it rained super heavy and parked on an hill so i sealed it with silicone. Never leaked again
Cruise control doesnt work. I believe it just needs a new controller. Never needed it either. If you know about these cars you know they burn oil due to bad design of oil control rings on the piston and this one is no exception. Burns about 2 quarts every 3000 mile oil change. The last few years ive used synthetic as it supposed to help. Ive done an upper cylinder soak once before and it definately helped atleast for a short while. Other than that this car is very reliable and super easy to work on. Infact i also just replaced window track bushing on back window. Took 10 minutes to pull the outer plastic door skin off to get acess to anything inside the door. Got to love the design and simplicity of these cars. Hate to sell it but i got a new to me truck and i was the only one driving it. 1900 obo text show contact info . NO SCAMS!
