Vehicle Description
We purchased this truck on 9/17 of this year. And unfortunately the rear axle went out shortly after. After getting a quote to fix the truck, we determined that it would take more time than we are willing to spend in order to get fixed. The truck runs decent, and transmission shifts smoothly, but it can not be driven because of the rear axle. For someone with some mechanical skills, and the time to work on it this truck would be a good deal, its not uncommon to see these trucks going for $8000+ even when they have over 200k miles. Good:
-Clean title
-Clean carfax, no accidents.
-Engine runs strong
-Shifts into 4 wheel drive smoothly
-126,000 miles.
-Body & paint in good condition no rust / minor scratches
-Interior in good condition (some minor splitting in leather on front seat)
Bad:
-Worst thing is this truck will need a new rear axel
-Some rust on the frame
-Exhaust has some pinholes here and there caused by rust
-needs tires
