Used 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX (Bugeye) - cars & trucks - by owner -... for sale in Philadelphia, PA
Vehicle Description
It has damage to the front from a low impact bump, however the bumper does not seem compromised and the air bags did *not* deploy:
- hood is bent and needs to be replaced
- headlamps need to be replaced (replacement headlamps included!)
- radiator mount is bent slightly backwards.
However, mechanics seem to be in good working order. I drove the car a few miles with no noticeable concerns:
- no engine check-light
- AC on full blast
- no overheating, and plenty of coolant still in tank
- no noticeable leaking underneath the car
I will provide a write-up of the work recommended by the body shop, if you need a detailed breakdown of what needs to be down to return car to stock condition. The car seems to be in full working mechanical order, with only the aforementioned body work required to be road-worthy. The cost of servicing this repair exceeds what I had spent on the car, so I am parting with it in the hopes that someone may get value out of refurbishing the car or simply harvesting it for parts. With the body work done, I would feel safe driving this car for another 100,000 miles, as it has served as a fully reliably daily-commute with no mechanical ailments.
I can also provide receipts of recently replacing the AC compressor/condenser this summer, as I hoped to get much more use out of it.
I will also include as part of the $3,000 price additional parts I have:
- 5 additional rims
- replacement right passenger-side door
- replacement rear bumper
- aftermarket front grill pieces
- shiny new headlamps
- STI turbo
