the ugly:
engine knock
this land rover was super reliable until about two months ago. engine started knocking due to issue with oil pump, replaced oil pump and surrounding parts, knock is still there and now is leaking oil. for someone who is mechanically inclined or needs parts for this particular year/make/model this could be a sweet score. i’m moving at the end of the month and can’t deal with it anymore. land rovers can be pretty bulletproof in the right hands this thing could keep running for years.
