Used 2003 Mazda MPV LX Minivan for sale in Erie, CO
Vehicle Description
We bought this from the proverbial little old man who never used it, in Surprise, AZ (where my folks live) in the spring of 2017. It had a mere 42k miles on it at the time. In the 4 years we've owned it, we've only put another 37k miles on it as it wasn't our primary vehicle. The little old man kept it in near flawless condition, as have we. It's immaculate inside and out for its model year (I also just spent the last two days obsessively detailing it), and everything functions as it should: starts in the winter (new battery last year), air blows cold, heat works, electronics, radio, etc.
This van's name is Stan Jr., and Stan has a tiny list of grievances:
-*Very* slow oil leak. Just a drip or two over a few days when it's parked on a flat surface. The guys at Pep Boys told me the repair would be under $300. Absolutely driveable until you decide to repair it. We've never needed to add oil between oil changes every 3k miles.
-Will need new struts at some point. Again, absolutely driveable until you decide to repair it, but your tires will wear a little faster until you do. Christian Brothers Automotive told us it was okay to drive as is.
-Sometimes the locks in the sliding doors don't respond to the key fobs, and you have to manually unlock them.
If you buy used cars, you know these three things are pretty standard for a car this age.
Stan Jr. does a couple tricks:
-There's a third row that folds INTO the floor (see pics). Stan is like a transformer robot. Great for hauling kids or cargo.
-The middle row of seats comes out. Great for camping in your vehicle.
-We inherited a stylish carpeted dashboard from the little old man (removable). You will inherit it from us!
-Alloy rims. One should always have alloy rims when driving a cool minivan.
Listing at $6k. For a minivan in this condition with such low miles, this seems like an exceptionally fair price. Cash only, please.
