Used 2003 Mini Cooper S - Tons of upgrades and service, some work needed... for sale in Broomfield, CO

Up for sale today is a great little care, the 2003 Mini Cooper S. It is blue in color with white top and white mirrors, and the exterior is in very good condition. The Cooper S is the supercharged model, and this car has many upgrades building on that pep and power. It drives like a little go-kart. There is one dent on the driver side door that stands out some, but I haven't tried to repair it at all. Tires about 7500 miles old and the body is otherwise in excellent shape for its age. I purchased this care from a neighbor in May for my daughter, but we decided a Mini this age was not the right vehicle for her, nor was a manual transmission. Our loss is your gain. It has approximately 144,000 miles on it and is a manual transmission with a clean title. It currently has a coolant leak that I simply do not want to waste the time tracking down...it did overheat once and I have not driven it since. If you are handy with cars, especially with older vehicles or Minis, this may be an easy way for you to get a great car for super cheap, do a bit of work, and get instant value. This vehicle has had well over $2000 of routine maintenance (in the past year) done to it prior to me purchasing from my neighbor. If you are shopping for one of these vehicle, keep that in mind when you get a price. This recent service and maintenance has a TON of value, and if you find a Mini at this price, it will not have had these expensive services performed.

Interior: Clean, leather seats. Upgraded aftermarket JVC radio with Bluetooth that matches factory colors and uses factory steering wheel controls. AC. Heat. Heated Seats. Cruise. Auto Air. Full panoramic moonroof with sunshade. Tinted windows all around.

Recent Service: Passed emissions in March 2020, engine and transmission removed, cleaned and repaired/adjusted as needed and reinstalled, heads removed and cleaned with new gaskets installed; pistons cleaned of any carbon; valves cleaned of any carbon, resurfaced valves and seats; new valve guides; head inspected and cleaned; reassembled with all new OEM gaskets and parts as needed; supercharger serviced; new clutch, throw out bearing and clutch plate and slave cylinder; new CV boots; front grade pads and rotors; new tires; new catalytic converter with new O2 sensors; aftermarket exhaust; 15% super charger pulley; aftermarket Motegi Racing wheels; new windshield; new oil cooler; and much more minor details.

This is a very, nice, clean car, that can just use a bit more TLC that I am want to give it right now...which is next to none. I was looking for a daily driver that didn't need any work, so that is my mistake. I am already selling this for $1500 less than I paid for it in May. Again, it does have a coolant leak, I have not even begun to open to hood to track it down. It could be excess overflow, a lose hose, or something else. Based on how new everything is in the vehicle, I am leaning towards an easily fixable leak, as everything else was addressed less than a year ago. However, car is sold as-is.
