We had the car sitting for awhile so I went through and changed/replaced the following:
New Battery
New Spark Plugs
New Spark Plug Wires
Oil and Filter change
New Air Filter
New o2 sensor (bank 1)
Ran through DEQ (Passed have paperwork for registration)
Newish stuff (Done right before my wife bought her new car)
Timing Chain
Front wheel Alignment
I went through the car to make sure everything works:
Cruise Control - works
all lights, blinkers, brakes etc - Works
Heater and AC - work (Control knob needs some TLC parts kit 12 dollars on Amazon.)
Front/Rear Defrost - works
AM/FM/CD radio - works
Tires are in great shape.
Brakes are OK.
Working on this car i fell in love with it again. It's a great commuter car to get you around town. It's DEQ'd so you're ready to register it. The car is 17 years old so it's not perfect, but what old car is. The car does need a little oil every now and then due to a leaky head cover gasket. (very common on these cars) the fix is simple but i'll let you decide whether of not you wish to fix it.
