This has been my commuter car for the last three years. It has 220,000 miles and super ugly. Heater works great, in fact, it doesn’t turn off. Sometimes the AC will work if you talk nice to her. Gets amazing gas mileage, about 45 miles a gallon. Has leather-heated seats, which I love.
Has a lot of little problems: trunk recently quit opening, paint chipping off the hood, slow battery drain, husband said it’s most likely due for a timing belt.
I quit driving her about a month ago when we got a newer Jetta so she is a bit dusty on the outside.
Update: Husband will trade if for jumping jack/ compactor
