Up for sale is my 04 Mazdaspeed Miata. Comes with a color matching Titanium Grey hardtop! Bought this car for a cross country road trip and it performed flawlessly. Replaced a lot of parts in preparation for the trip and had my fun with it. Time to pass it on.
Within the past 3k miles
- Full synthetic gear oil change
- 5x Racing shifter rebuild kit
- 5x Racing Hardtop security mounts
- New brake pads
- New Tires (Yokohama S-Drive)
- OEM coilovers (came off another Mazdaspeed with 35k miles)
Modifications
- Relocated oil filter
- Boost controller
- Boost gauge pod
- Intake
- Aftermarket clutch
Things to Note
- AC will freeze your hands off. Heater works great.
- Hardtop is in PERFECT condition
- Texas inspection good for till Oct 2021
- Clean Carfax with some service records and zero accidents
- Soft top is bad, I’d probably just remove it or bolt in a used soft top on a frame
- Vertical crack in windshield (thanks, rock truck).
- Leaks a tiny, tiny bit of oil. Not enough to need to add oil between changes
- No record of timing belt replacement, but it’s definitely not on the original belt/water pump
Car has given me zero issues. It took me from North Carolina, to the Tail of the Dragon, and all the way back to Austin Texas. This is a great starting point for an auto-x build or just a weekend cruiser. Clean title in my name. Younger sister just got her driver's license so I’d maybe consider a partial trade for a small crossover (Escape, CR-V, Rav4, etc).
