Vehicle Description
Pros:
Clean title in hand, no liens. Able to sign over on purchase.
New registration - through April 22.
New safety - through March 22.
She was my dedicated beach car and comfortably carried, kayak, sup and surf board inside. Locked up so no worries about them.
Everything you need to work works as it should.
I’ve been very good on oil, transmission fluid, and regular check ups.
Lights work great.
No warning lights etc.
Cons:
She’s not the most beautiful. She had been through an accident or two before I bought her so cosmetically she’s a bit hurting.
Going over speed bumps she squeaks. It is the bearing and has no effect on her driving. I bought white grease and sprayed it when the sound bugged me. I will of course leave the bottle I have in the car.
She does not accelerate fast, nor go super fast unless you push her. I never had reason to so I don’t know what she’s capable of but she feels sluggish at 60 so I didn’t do more. I was taking her back and forth between Waimea and Waikoloa and she takes a minute to get up to speed on the incline.
Air conditioning is broken! It only happened about a month ago and I didn’t take the time to fix it.
The seat that I didn’t put away in the picture requires pliers to put away fully, because a piece of the plastic latch in the floor broke. Same side, that door requires a tight grip or pliers to unlock from the inside once locked because the inside plastic piece broke.
Plus two typical cons of a minivan. Not great gas mileage and the spare tire is hard to get to.
I am selling this car because I’m working all over the island now and couldn’t afford 2 hour commutes on her gas mileage. Otherwise I’d be keeping her till she died.
