Vehicle Description
For sale is my beloved 2005 Wrangler LJ. It has just under 116k miles on the odometer. It is mechanically stock (suspension, engine, etc.). It has the AMC 4.0L inline 6 and a 4-speed automatic transmission. This model (unlimited) features an extended wheelbase, adding 10 inches in length and increasing the towing capacity to 3500lbs. This model was only produced from 2004 to 2006.
The good:
-Mechanically stock - good for the start of a fresh build or as a solid DD
-Never seriously beat on offroad or otherwise
-Regular maintenance (and all other work) backed up by service records
-Paint (Patriot Blue) is in excellent condition for its age with only minor scratches and corrections
-Zero damage to body in terms of dents, dings, etc.
-Factory hard top (gray) included as well as black OEM soft top and Smittybilt bikini top
-'04-'06 Unlimited OEM hardtops are expensive and notoriously difficult to find
-5 15" OEM Jeep Ravine wheels, all in good condition
The bad:
-Minor surface rust in a few spots on the body (lower rear corner on driver's side, some very small spots on hood)
-One of the A pillar auxiliary lights (installed by previous owner) began taking on water last year and went out
-Small engine oil leak that appears in cold weather and disappears in warm weather
-One (of the two) hardtop rear window defroster wiring connections frayed and severed with age

This Jeep has been babied for the entirety of its time under my care. It makes me very sad to get rid of it but my needs have changed. This is my only reason for selling and I'm in no rush.
