Used 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ TJ TJU for sale in Haledon, NJ
Vehicle Description
4.0 i6, 6 speed manual, 3.73 (stock) gears with rear LSD, 231 transfer case.
For those unaware, jeep made an "unlimited" version of the TJ which is 10 inches longer for more interior space and a longer wheel base for 2004-2006. This is a longer 2 door wrangler, not a 4 door.
I purchased this in April 2018 with 87,000 and it now has 120,000. I've taken care of all the maintenance since I purchased it, and can provide you with my log for service and upgrades. I've been very happy with the jeep, but I just don't drive it anymore as I have an MJ for offroad and utility, and a separate daily.
A quick summary of the current condition:
Upgrades:
Trucklite headlights (heated) New Bestop trektop in 2017 Iggie seat covers over the stock cloth front and back. (black and blue) These are all the benefits of leather without the upkeep.
5x Falken Wildpeak A/T3W on ravine wheels. Plenty of life, these have maybe 10,000 miles on them?
Tube brush guard on stock front bumper
fog lights added to front bumper with factory wiring (removed factory fogs that were on top of bumper)
3,500lb hitch, I used this as a recovery point for the rear, but I suppose you could tow up to the vehicles rating of 3,500lb.
double din touch screen android head unit.
Maintenance:
Regular oil changes with stp ZDDP additive. The one shortcoming of these engines with reliability is that they need zinc oil (was standard when it was designed) to lubricate the cam/lifters. No lifter tick here, and the ZDDP keeps it that way.

flushed and replaced coolant 2019
replaced 02 sensors (one went bad, replaced 2 and will include the other two with the vehicle)
replaced a brake line that had surface rust with nicopp, replaced front calipers, flushed entire brake system with new brake fluid 2019
new centric rotors (x4) and yellowstuff brake pads (x4) 2019
replaced interior lights with led
replaced blown stock subwoofer with new one.
The front right fender has a wrinkle and some missing paint right in the front by the orange marker light/grill.
There is a small dent in the passenger side rear corner of the tub, was like that when I bought it.
I'll also include an extra full set of factory carpets. I came across a set for sale and grabbed them in case mine ever got spilled on or something.
