Vehicle Description
The good: it’s a Toyota, not some terrible Chevy, dodge or Ford that are built to break. It has low miles for its age, 8300 average annual miles. New suspension in the last year, Old man Emu struts and shocks, new coil overs and new leaf springs. New head lights and tail lights. New stereo deck with touch screen that can connect to your phone. New brakes as of 12/2019. No rips or tears on the seats, interior is in great shape and complete, no missing knobs on the dash and the headliner is perfect and all the lights/features work.
The bad: it has scratches on much of the body but no major damage or rust. There’s a dent in the rear quarter panel (in the pictures) and the rear passenger mud flap was ripped off a couple years ago and I never fixed it. The wind screen on the front of the hood is damaged on the passenger side. I’m not 100% sure about this but I think it needs a new ball joint on the suspension on the passenger side, every now and then I’ll hear a little pop, can’t tell if it’s the tires going over something or the ball joint. I use this truck for truck stuff, it’s no pavement princess so the bed is pretty scratched up. The tire pressure sensor always goes off in the winter, I’ve taken it to les Schwabs many times and they say there’s nothing wrong with the tires, just an old sensor not really worth replacing cuz it’ll just do it again when it’s cold out.
It’s currently on studded snow tires and has a full tank of gas and is ready to roll. If you’re a Toyota person looking for one of the 1st gen Tundras in good shape, this is it. I have all terrain tires on new rims for summer time but I spent a lot of $ on those and will be selling them separately on Craigslist, if you’re interested, we can talk when you check out the truck.
