Vehicle Description
Leather interior. Moonroof and spoiler. SiriusXM enabled radio with great speaker system. AUX and USB port have been installed. Aux plays to radio station 87.9FM. Electrical seats with preset function. Seat warmers with Low/High setting. Power windows with motors that were just replaced. Brand new battery. Timing belt was also replaced within the last 5,000 miles.
Drives well and has amazing power. 3.2L V6 Engine runs perfectly. Two prior owners (including me). Rebuilt title is in hand. Blacked out rims. Comes with spare tire and one key. I'm happy to discuss pricing or have anyone come see the car.
- Because it is a rebuilt title, and some of the airbag lights were not reset when it was rebuilt, the lights will be on at all times. However, the airbags HAVE been tested and replaced with new ones.
- I’ve locked myself out of the car quite a few times and have had to call AAA locksmiths to balloon the door open. As a result of this, the seal around the rim of the front passenger side door is not as tight as it used to be. The actual locking mechanism works perfectly and the door is in no danger of opening because of this. The only thing is that the dash will beep and tell you the door is open when it isn’t actually open.
- The AC is currently not working. It is likely a compressor issue and would be a relatively easy fix. Price has been reduced by $500 to account for this.
- One headlight is an LED bulb and the other is a Xenon bulb. Both function perfectly.
- Dashboard has some cracks on the right side (pictured). This, unfortunately, is a common problem with the TLs from the 2000s.
- Leather interior is largely in good condition. There are some small scratches in the front passenger seat and a rip in the driver seat (pictured). The back seats are in very good condition with no significant damage.
- The bumper attachment points are ripped (pictured). Could be fixed more permanently but is driveable with few issues using metal zip ties (pictured).
- Fairly large scrapes on the sides with dent on back left near gas cap (both pictured)
- Some small indents on the leather on passenger side doors (pictured) from dog putting his paws up.
- Lower paneling on right side of the car is also missing (pictured).
- There is a drain somewhere in the battery circuit, so if the car is left without running for a while, you will come back to a dead battery. I have installed a manual switch on the battery (pictured) that MUST be flipped when the car is going to be left for more than a short while to avoid this. If you remember to do this, there will be no issues whatsoever with the battery.
- Certain fuses need to be replaced (car horn and some of the interior lights), as I have taken them out while trying to figure out where the drain is coming from. This would cost no more than $10 from AutoZone or the like.
She has a few problems (mostly exterior cosmetics/annoyances like the switch), but she drives wonderfully and is still one of my favorites. Heavier car with lots of power and drives very low to the ground for a non-sport sedan. KBB value comes in right around $3,800.
