Stuff already done to the car: all 4 struts and springs were replaced, all motor mounts were replaced with Innovative urethane mounts (95a), new alternator, new end links front and rear, new front brake pads, all interior lighting converted to led, Depo led side markers front and rear, Spyder projector headlight housings with 6000k led headlights, 3000k yellow led fog lights, Endless RPM carbon fiber "Shark mouth" grill, and 20 inch wheels and tires. (No rubbing)
The negative: as with most Honda manual transmissions, it feels a bit "notchy." It shifts through the gears fine and all, but there is a grind sometimes at certain rpm's when shifting into 4th gear. I'm guessing it's the usual suspects with these transmissions, shift cables need replaced, or possibly needs synchros replaced. (Carbon synchros for this car are only a couple hundred bucks, then it would never become an issue again.) There is some paint oxidation and a few very small little dents on the exterior of the car, but overall the body is pretty straight. The navigation/stereo unit has never worked since I've owned the car. The passenger side heated seat doesn't work, the light comes on, so it's probably just a loose connection. Tint on the windshield and back window are great, but the side windows need redone. There is NO cracks in the factory dash, which is almost unheard of with these cars. Car comes with all parts and specialized tools for doing the service, as well as original factory paperwork booklet, which has all service pamphlets, owners manuals, codes, DVD, and even the original window sticker that was in the window when it was purchased new.
Anyway, it's not a perfect car, but it runs and drives good, and looks even better. It turns heads everywhere it goes, and has been very reliable. I am asking $6000 for it, and I am pretty firm at that price, I won't take less, and I'm in no rush to sell.
Only trade I would be interested in is for an NB Miata, and it must be a manual.
