Vehicle Description
We are selling our Ford Freestyle, a car that has served our family of six very well for the last twelve years. It is a great and spacious car, with a third row of seating that allows you to fit 7 comfortably. The seats fold down and allow for lots of room for hauling stuff. We put a ten foot Christmas tree in it, just last week.
This car has been around the block a few times, but still has a lot of miles left to go. However, it has some issues, thus the low price. I describe them as the Good, the Bad and the Ugly…
The Good!
• Excellent engine, very well maintained with regular oil changes and service. A good runner!
• Newish tires. I put four new Michellins from Costco on the car last fall. Less than 5K on the tires
• Newish brakes. Rotors and pads replaced last year.
• Heated leather seats, sunroof, roof rack, great sound system and storage
• New tags and city sticker. The vehicle passed inspection in September, 2020. Clean title.
The Bad
• The power steering whines a little bit.
• Some rust spots on the hood.
• Air conditioning is not working, will need a recharge
• Rims have some rust and wear from Chicago winters and may need replacing.
The Ugly
• Left rear door seal needs replacing
• Seals by the sunroof and passenger door leak and drip water during heavy rains.
