I own a small auto repair shop and have been maintaining this vehicle for years. I purchased this truck from the customer after the transmission failed and he decided he wanted to get into something newer and easier to get into (older gentleman). Transmission was rebuilt will all current updates by transmission doctor in apple valley. I have used them for 5 previous transmission jobs and all of them have worked out flawlessly.
Heres a quick run down of things to mention:
- Brand new rebuilt trans with all the updated parts and new fluid
- New radiator with fresh coolant
- New thermostat and seal
- Tires replaced this year (Like new Coopers)
- New exhaust system with nice tips (Has more throaty sound then stock but not annoying)
- Has had several front end parts replaced, front end is very tight, been getting regular grease jobs for the last 5 years, recent alignment, truck goes down the road straight as can be
- Nice tonneau cover and a plastic bed liner
- Multi zone heated leather seats with memory option
- Dual climate control
- Premium factory bose sound system
- Plugs, wires, and transfer case fluid right around 100k miles
- Heat and AC work awesome
- Zero check engine lights, no fluid leaks, no clunks or rattles.
The truck really goes down the road great. Feels like a new truck yet and you can tell it has been well taken care of (the transmission failure was a fluke deal, not associated with abuse).
Only real issue with the truck are cosmetic. The common rocker panel rot. Plastic fender flares have some faded paint. Various scratches and dents here and there. But for its age its still in great shape and cleans up nice.
KBB lists this truck in "good" condition for over $9000...with the fresh trans, new tires, and all the maintenance thats been done to it my price is more then fair.
Price is $8250. Dont waste my time and I wont waste yours. Clean and clear title ready to go.
