This LS430 was previously owned by a celebrity from NY. Major services performed were timing belt, water pump, power steering pump and 1 of the catalytic converters. I also bought a lifetime alignment on the car from firestone. Engine has never overheated on me and I recently did a coolant flush for preventive maintenance as well as replaced the battery with a brand new one. Bring your mechanic to check it out!! It has been extremely reliable to me and never left me stranded on my many long distance trips. I even drove 3 hours from NY to PA through an INTENSE rain storm on 11-30; it was raining so hard that I lost all visibility while driving but the LS never let me down. While most cars were going about 20-30 I was cruising at 50mph through huge puddles and all without issue. To be totally honest with the future owner, your only concern would be the intermittent check engine light caused by an o2 code & catalyst inefficiency code. The car runs and drives just fine and I've made plenty of high mileage trips with total confidence.
