Vehicle Description
This particular Highlander is nicer than most. This one is the "Highlander Limited AWD" edition with the larger 3.3L V6 gas motor (basic models had 4 cyl, and/or were FWD), beautiful leather heated power-seats, power sunroof, JBL sound system, and offers 2nd and 3rd row leather seating with the 3rd row folding down flush to accomodate a ton of storage. I folded down the 3rd row and half of the second row and took it to the ski hill on many occasions and it was always very snow-worthy (Comfortably sits 3 for ski trips with equipment inside the car, 4 with a torpedo on top). Seat heaters work flawlessly, both driver's and passenger's side. HVAC heater gets plenty hot, AC gets icy cold. The drivetrain is all-wheel, all the time, and it has met every challenge Wyoming ever threw at it. In 4 years of ownership, the engine has NEVER failed to start, even in the bitter -10F cold, and runs and drives absolutely perfectly. Motor has plenty of jam, even going up hills, and the automatic transmission still shifts beautifully. Cruise control works great. A full-size spare rides under the rear of the vehicle, and it still has the in-car jack and tire iron (I never used them). Wipers are about a month old. Interior was detailed on Nov. 11th including leather conditioning to give the next owner an almost new-car experience.
For having 255k miles, this thing is in unbelievable shape inside and out. This is hands-down most dependable vehicle I've ever owned. The vehicle does need (and deserves, frankly) new tires and an alignment.
I'm asking $4900 OBO. Come take a look and take it for a spin. With a new set of tires, this vehicle will likely get you safely through this winter and many more to come.
Why am I selling? I ended up buying a Range Rover, and my daughter prefers having heated rear seats.
