This 2007 BMW Z4 M Roadster is one of 3,014 produced for North America and was first sold by BMW of Minnetonka, Minnesota. Since then it has covered just over 50,000 miles, yet remains largely unmodified condition with the largest change being a different set of exhaust mufflers. The S54 engine uses solid valve lifters and requires regular valve adjustments, and induction is handled by a set of six individual throttle bodies—one for each combustion chamber. Output when new was 330 horsepower at 7,900 rpm with 262 pound-feet of torque at 4,900. Motivation is sent to the rear M variable differential by way of a ZF 6-speed manual.
