Who is Jessica Charlie?
She’s our 2007 Kia Sedona minivan that was given both names when our kids couldn’t agree on either alone. We are the original owners of this 7 person people mover which has been great for a family with 3 kids and a variety of dogs. We’ve taken care of her as reliably as she’s taken care of us; oil changes every 3-4,000 miles, good tires, and maintenance as appropriate. The 250 horsepower engine gives plenty of acceleration when it’s time to merge into traffic, go up a hill, or duck into a row of cars traveling “5 MPH above the speed limit”. The front wheel drive configuration handles snow and ice like a champ.

She has the cosmetic wear and tear you expect on a 12+ year old vehicle with 234,000 miles. A couple of exterior rust spots, a missing arm rest, and a place where a crayon melted into the carpet. But none of those affect the utility and versatility for a family needing a good driving vehicle with a warm heater and cold air conditioner.
