Used 2007 MINI Cooper Automatic, 132K miles, Great Condition! - cars &... for sale in Anderson, SC

II have a 2007 MINI Cooper with 132k miles in great shape. The car has a 1.6L 4-cylinder DOHC engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission with sport mode (allows manual shifting). These cars and designed and built by BMW, so they have the styling flair of a classic British car with the design and build quality of a German car. The car starts, runs, shifts, and drives great with no known mechanical issues. The car has the sports package, cold weather package, leather, power windows, power steering, heated seats, cd/mp3 player, satellite radio, automatic stability control and traction control, and a panorama roof (Power moonroof and the nearly the whole roof is glass). There are nicks and dings and consistent with age, but the exterior is in good overall condition with nice and shiny paint. There’s one small ding on the black roof and some minor scuffs on the rear bumper (see pics). The interior is in great shape with no tears or dash cracks, etc. with only some minor wear on the outside bolster of the driver’s seat that could be re-stained or ignored (see pic). The automatic climate control works great: the AC blows cold and the heat blows hot. The tires are a matching set of Firestones with around 50% life remaining. The rear brake pads are new and the front and rear brake pad sensors are new.

I have the clean title in my name and in my hands.

The only known issues are: the stereo lcd display is not displaying all pixels (common issue -- stereo works great, but can’t always see which station you’re on, etc.), the rear hatch switch isn’t working (can open rear hatch with key fob, so I haven’t bothered replacing it), and when you start the car, it shows that the windshield washer fluid is low when it’s not (likely a bad sensor). The LCD displays are available on ebay for around $80, the hatch switches are also around $80, and the washer fluid sensor is about $20. It’s possible I may get around to correcting these issues, but they are rather minor and non-distracting. I don’t know of any other issues.

Why am I selling? I bought this car in Georgia in August for my son. Since then, he’s decided to keep a different car that he fixed-up and likes better, so we no longer need this one. I’ve driven it a couple hundred miles to make sure everything is in working order and we did some work on the brakes, cleaning it up, etc.

This car looks great, runs great, handles great, and is a blast to drive. The interior and exterior styling puts a smile on your face every time and you’ll get waves, thumbs-up, and gas station conversations from other MINI owners. This car gets great fuel economy and is ready to make its new owner happy :-)
