Vehicle Description
222,000 miles on the car.
Engine replaced this March, 2021 with an 80K mile engine.
Fairly good tread on Toyo tires. Only used for approximately 7-8,000 miles.
I don’t believe in hiding facts from people when selling something especially when most of the time they are going to find out the truth of an item anyway. I believe that something sells faster to the right person sooner this way. You have to be fully informed to be fully satisfied with the purchase.
AMSOIL synthetic lubricants used in the transmission, coolant system, and brakes. The engine had it in it until the engine replacement, now it does not since the change. It has not been driven even 200-300 miles since the engine change has been done.
It is in need of some body and paint work as the photos will show. Most people familiar with Toyotas know the history of problems Toyota has had historically with body integrity and hardware. Plus the previous owner did his share of not taking care of the body with certain dings and scratches.
It has a few other parts that have been recently replaced;
Serpentine belt, Blower motor, Clock Spring, PCV Valve, and PCV Hose, Oil Pressure sensor, VVT solenoid, and the Timing chain tensioner.
Both of the 2 required recall upgrades to the airbags have been performed at a Toyota Dealership as well.
BUT UNDERSTAND THIS:
I didn't put a newer 80K engine in it for $3000 just to sell it off for what NADA and KBB say it's worth. Why!
1. You'll find, if you do your research that KBB and NADA are not impartial judges of value; as they are owned now by groups making $ buying and selling cars.
2. If I sell this car, it will be getting the value it actually has presently in terms of it's usefulness to me and you, not just you alone or a fake evaluator of merchandise assumed as genuine. Am I willing to negotiate, to talk? Yes! But to the right genuinely serious buyer who can think with me a little! If I can't get near the value this car still possesses I will continue to drive it as it suits me until I do get what I put into it up till now. And.
3. This car has greater value alone than most cars compared to it of it's age, due to the AMSOIL products in it. High quality synthetic fluids reduce wear in vehicle's parts as a rule.
So, now you have both sides of it. I will negotiate, I will listen with respect to others' ideas if they show me the same respect. But I'm not going to give this vehicle away for a KBB or NADA set price, That's not fair to us.
