Vehicle Description
Part of a 2017 recall in which Toyota replaced the entire frame, so no concerns about rot. See photo of frame section. The rear fender trim piece missing in the photos will be re-attached for sale. They are currently being painted as the entire rear bumper was painted and they forgot to reattach.
Work Completed in October of 2020:
Drivers Side rear axle rebuilt - new bearings and seals
Brake Pads, Rotors, Calipers and lines
Tie Rod end links
Alternator belt, pulley and tensioner
New Battery
4 Brand new Blacklion - Voracio 265/70/16 tires
Oil Change
Transmission fluid change
Coolant flush and change
Differential fluid change
Rear hatch handle and latch replaced
Headlights buffed
LED Headlights installed
The "Bad"
"Typical" Sequoia rust behind passenger rear door inside fender. Starting to bubble on drivers side as well (see pictures)
Parking brake cables need to be replaced - currently no eBrake
Small tear in passenger seat seam
Sunroof can be sporadic. Motor works fine, opens and closes but not in sync with pushing the buttons. May just need to be recalibrated.
Stock wheels are ugly - see picture.
Some paint imperfections as expected on a 13 year old truck.
Happy to answer any questions you may have. Test drives are welcome, I would drive this truck across country any day and will do at Christmas if we still own it.
